Actions: Antiseptic (anti-bacterial, anti-fungal) anti-inflammatory properties, which help healing of the skin, muscle spasms and digestive problems. Slight detoxifying action.
Description: Calendula has mainly been known for helping with skin inflammation, such as promoting healing of cuts, bruises, burns, scalds and insect bites. It can be used against Candida albicans (thrush) infections both orally and vaginally.
Calendula can help prevent muscle spasms and can assist digestive problems due to its anti-inflammatory property. It can have a detoxifying effect, especially on liver and gallbladder.
Additionally, it may assist in regulating menstruation cycles and easing menstrual pain.
