Actions: Detoxifying tonic with a strong protective property on the liver. Anti-allergenic, and anti-cancer attributes. Can increase breast-milk production.
Description: Mary Thistle has detoxifying properties and exerts a strong protective effect on
the liver. It appears to safeguard if from damage and aid regenerating it. Most commonly it is used for conditions such as jaundice, hepatitis, liver infection, excess alcohol or even chemotherapy. It may also aid with allergic rhinitis.
The name Milk Thistle refers to the stimulating effect it can have on the breast glands to increase breast milk production.
