Description: Famous for its use in absinthe, wormwood is best known in traditional medicine
as a digestive tonic and aromatic bitter which can aid with most digestive problems. It stimulates bile secretions, reduces bloating, gas and reducing inflammation. Combined with its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties it can protect from certain infections and aid recovery after prolonged illness.
Anti-depressant qualities have been observed and may have a neuroprotective effect and may aid to reduce depression.
